Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd Appoints Ashish Dikshit As Managing Director

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd (ABFRL) said it appointed Ashish Dikshit managing director of the company, replacing Pranab Barua with effect from Feb 1.

ABFRL said in a statement “Dikshit, who is currently the business head of the of Madura Fashion and Lifestyle division, will take up the new position for a period of five years, the retailer of Louis Phillipe and Van Heusen brands. Barua, however, will be retained in the company as an additional director of the board in view of his vast knowledge and experience and the immense value that hr brings. The appointments of both Dikshit and Barua are subject to shareholder approval. Chief financial officer S Visvanathan has resigned to pursue a career outside the company and will step down effective Feb 28. He will be replaced by Jagdish Bajaj, who has over two decades of experience with the Aditya Birla Group, as the new CFO, effective April.”
