The brand also plans to unveil a new retail identity for Miniklub in October, and will expand its product portfolio with new and innovative offerings like muslin clothing, sleep wear and exclusive clothing range for early babies.

MiniKlub, a premier Indian babywear and kids' lifestyle brand, has recently completed a 100-store milestone, marking an important phase in the brand’s growth journey. The company from the house of ‘First Steps Babywear’, started its journey in 2013 as an omni channel brand. The brand is known for its trendy kidswear collection from the infant to the age of 8-years old.

Commenting on the brand’s milestone, Anjana Pasi, Director, FS Mini Klub, said, ‘‘Reaching 100 exclusive brand stores is an important milestone for us and reflects our long-term commitment to build a strong retail presence across India.’’

Penetrating into Tier I & Tier II Cities

MiniKlub is strengthening its presence in Tier I and II cities, adopting a market-led and location-focused strategy.

Talking about its expansion plans, Anjana said, ‘‘Miniklub is now growing its presence across multiple regions of India, spanning metros, Tier 2 cities and emerging markets.’’ She adds, ‘‘We are identifying cities and catchments with strong potential for organised baby and kidswear, category. For us, growth is not just about store count, it is about being present in the right markets, building a consistent brand experience and creating a retail network that can scale sustainably.’’

The brand continues to deepen its presence in its existing markets while entering new and emerging markets, bringing Miniklub’s ‘Happy Parenting’ proposition closer to more families. Anjana further shared that the brand is planning to expand aggressively in large format stores & Multi-Brand Outlet (MBOs).

Omni Channel Strategy of the Brand

In today’s increasingly omnichannel world, brands are seamlessly bridging the gap between physical and digital retail, and MiniKlub is no exception.

Anjana says, ‘‘We are presently enabling our ‘store-to-home’ delivery network through partnerships with third-party service providers, enabling faster and more efficient deliveries across approximately 70 percent of our store-serviced pin codes. She further says, ‘‘Our Pan-India store network acts as a fulfillment network, allowing us to route orders from the nearest available location for faster delivery.’’

Minirush: The Brand’s Own Quick Commerce Platform

The brand also has a quick commerce platform Minirush that offers four-hour delivery across select pin codes in Bengaluru, with plans to extend the service to other major metros during the year.”

Miniklub Collection

The brand caters to the children segment ranging from newborn to 8-year olds across apparel and essentials, with a focus on quality, comfort and safety. Miniklub also offers its Minicuddle collections, a premium clothing range for 0-4 years old, designed in the UK, that brings a more elevated design proposition to the category.

India’s Kids Apparel Market

According to IMARC, the India kids apparel market size has reached USD 23 billion in 2026 and is projected to reach USD 27.17 Billion by 2034, growing at a compound annual growth rate of 2.08% from 2026-2034.

The market is driven by rising urbanization, increasing disposable incomes among middle-class households, and evolving consumer preferences toward fashionable and branded clothing for children. Growing awareness of child hygiene and comfort, along with the expansion of e-commerce platforms, has amplified product accessibility across urban and rural regions.

Talking about the kidswear market, Anjana said, ‘‘India’s baby and kidswear category is witnessing a significant evolution, driven by changing lifestyles, rising parental awareness and a growing preference for organised brands.’’ She adds, ‘‘The parents today are making more considered choices, looking beyond price and appearance to factors such as comfort, quality, safety, durability, functionality and design. This is driving the demand for everyday baby essentials that offer convenience, safety and reliability.’’

Changing Parental Preference

Commenting on the evolving parental preferences, Anjana said, ‘‘Parenting habits and practices are more informed and intentional in today's scenario. Parents are looking for products that combine quality, safety, functionality and value, while also making everyday parenting more convenient. This shifts the role of brands from simply selling products to earning the trust of parents through what they make and how they make it.’’

She further emphasized that at Miniklub, the changing parenting dynamic is reflected in its “We Design, We Create & We Care” philosophy, offering soft, bio-washed fabrics for kids.

Sustainability: A Current Trend in the Kids Apparel Segment

Anjana further shares that sustainability plays an increasingly crucial role in the kidswear segment. Sustainability trends are pushing new moms towards choosing quality products that have a lower environmental impact. She adds that this shift is already present across FMCG categories, with products such as bamboo-inspired diapers and water-based bathing products gaining preference.

‘‘Parents are also increasingly looking for products that offer longevity and better value, such as “grow-with-me” features, where the product can adapt as the baby grows. This extends the product’s life cycle, reduces the need for frequent replacement, and ultimately helps minimise waste,’’ says Anjana.

How is the Brand Differentiated from the Rest?

Anjana emphasized that the brand stands out from its competitors, offering distinct product offerings to its customers and a clear focus on ‘what matters most to parents’.

She says, ‘‘At the product level, we focus on delivering better comfort, durable and safe apparels for children. From superior, soft cotton and bio-washed fabrics to Azo-free dyes, needle testing, pull-tested snap buttons and nickel-free poppers, we pay attention to the details that matter to parents.’’

MiniKlub Brand Promotions and Campaigns

MiniKlub's recent brand-building efforts centres around ‘Happy Parenting’ philosophy, making everyday parenting simpler, more joyful and inclusive. The key initiative in this strategy is the role of ‘dads’ as equal and active participants in the parenting journey, moving beyond the traditional portrayal of mothers as the primary caregivers.

Future Plans

Miniklub reveals that the brand will unveil a new retail identity for Miniklub near October. The brand will also expand its retail footprint and product offerings this year, with a new gifting range in the pipeline.

‘‘The next few years are set to be an exciting chapter in the journey of Miniklub. In October 2026, we will unveil a new retail identity for Miniklub, thoughtfully designed to refresh the brand experience and create a more engaging, contemporary environment for parents and children,’’ says Anjana.

The brand will also continue its retail expansion at pace, with a strong focus on both company-owned and franchise stores, taking Miniklub closer to parenting communities across the length and breadth of India. The brand will expand its product universe with new and innovative offerings, including Grow-With-Me clothing that are thoughtfully designed to adapt to the child’s growth, helping parents get more from every garment rather than replacing it too soon.

‘‘An exciting new gifting range is also in the pipeline, alongside our expanding non-apparel portfolio. The brand will also introduce muslin clothing, sleep wear and exclusive clothing range for early babies this year, bringing more thoughtfully designed products into the Miniklub ecosystem, signs off Anjana.
