Third Wave Coffee is targeting approximately 320 cafés by FY27, with a focus on market expansion, increasing presence in existing locations, product innovation, and operational efficiency.
The new outlets, located on Waltair Road and at Inorbit Mall, mark the brand’s entry into the state and take its South India footprint to more than 100 cafés. The company now operates over 240 cafés across India.
The round included a mix of primary and secondary capital and also saw participation from Creagis and other angel investors.
With more than 220 cafés nationwide, the brand's arrival in Kolkata reflects the growing demand for specialty coffee and premium café experiences in East India.
The outlet is located on Fatehabad Road in Tajganj and marks the brand’s entry into the city.
