Preeti Jain launches - Jewels by Preeti
Preeti Jain, a Delhi based jewellery designer and a qualified MBBS doctor with a fellowship in Dermatology from Singapore, has recently founded its first jewellery store - Jewels by Preeti. The USP of the store is that each of its designs has its own story to tell. Preeti prefers one-on-one interactions with her clients to understand their preferences and create unique pieces that reflect the personality of the woman wearing it.’ Jewels by Preeti’ is an excellent amalgamation of rare and precious stones of rubies, sapphires, emeralds and diamonds, both cut and uncut, which amply display Preeti’s untouched approach in design.
Preeti views “Jewellery designs in India now have become very innovative and since people also have become experimental, designers today have the liberty to display their creativity and get bolder with their designs. Today the diamond industry is on the verge of expansion, where I personally feel the media and movies have played a very important role in expanding the diamond market. Also now with the recent increase in diamond prices, people have started considering diamonds to be an investment similar to gold. There is also a shift from the slightly orthodox mentality of men, who are now showing inclination towards jewellery for themselves”.
