Rin and Surf prices slashed

Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has slashed prices by 10-30 per cent for its leading brands, Rin and Surf. For Rin, the prices have been brought down from Rs 70 to Rs 50 a pack. For Surf Excel Blue, price has been cut from Rs 91 to Rs 82 for a 500 gm pack. These stocks are yet to reach the market; they are still at the distribution level. A new marketing campaign for Surf Excel will be launched in March.
